Three years and counting! W4 is thrilled to once again support the Les Femmes s’en Mêlent (LFSM) music festival, which highlights the independent female music scene. This year, the 17th edition of the festival is being held from March 19th to April 4th, in Paris’ most iconic venues and across France.
Born as a one-night festival on International Women’s Day over 16 years ago, on March 8th 1997, Les Femmes s’en Mêlent has since grown into a multi-day, multi-city yearly celebration of the independent female music scene. The festival promotes innovating, bold and deeply unique female artists that are internationally renowned. Liz Green, Karol Conka, Cults, Angel Olsen, just to name a few… Take a look at this clip to catch a glimpse of the amazing musicians that are now performing at this year’s 17th edition of the festival!
DANCING AT THE MACHINE DU MOULIN ROUGE WILL HELP WOMEN IN SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA!
This year, W4 is happy to once again partner up with Les Femmes s’en Mêlent to help raise funds for mothers2mothers (m2m) at the closing performance of the festival at the Machine du Moulin Rouge, on Friday, March 28th! m2m is an organization working in sub-Saharan Africa, that seeks to empower mothers living with HIV to help eliminate pediatric AIDS, by putting them at the heart of improving reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health.
The W4 team will be at the closing event on Friday, and we hope to see you all at the Machine, to enjoy the music together and talk about our mission to empower women and girls around the world!
