From September 10th to October 5th, all donations to this project will be doubled!
THE CHALLENGE
While school enrollment has increased across the world, 263 million children remain out of school – and, of these, one-third live in Southeast Asia. Limited access to education and a high rate of school dropout are the result of many factors, including lack of adequate infrastructure and qualified teachers in the community, and insufficient family income, forcing children from poor communities to abandon school and instead go out to work or stay home to care for siblings.
Access to education is crucial for the most underprivileged children. Quality education improves children’s living conditions and enables them to develop the skills and qualifications they need to build their own futures, escape poverty, and contribute to the improved wellbeing of their communities.
Our challenge is your challenge.
Give children in Asia the opportunity of education, so that they
can build hope-filled futures free from poverty.
The SOLUTIONS WE'RE PROPOSING
W4’s field partner, Children of Asia, works to defend children’s right to education and to give young people access to quality vocational training and university education, supporting them in their ambitions and enabling them to access the formal employment sector in their country.
To help break the vicious circle of poverty, young people receive individualized support, ranging from school education to professional integration through adapted support services. With your support, young people will be equipped with the requisite skills to determine their own futures!
THE IMPACT OF GIVING
Your donation will help to support thousands of underprivileged young people — 50% of whom are girls — in Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines, and Vietnam. By choosing to support our education and training programs, you are enabling children and young people from poor communities to develop indispensable skills and achieve financial empowerment.
Thanks to your contribution, vulnerable children and young people will:
- receive quality education;
- benefit from adapted support from qualified trainers and social workers;
- receive career orientation support;
- participate in training courses and benefit from professional integration;
- and be able to decide their own futures!
